The Mitten Tandem Interface has been selected as a finalist in Anthill’s SMART 100 for 2018. So we are heading off to the awards night in Melbourne on Tuesday 28th August to see where we placed and to schmooze with investors, innovators and influencers. Used separately, in conjunction, or simultaneously with a mouse/pointer, the efficiency, coherence and ergonomics of most tasks is dramatically improved. This modest solution has many benefits. 3. PURPOSE & BENEFITS This innovation improves on what came before because… Point-n-click methods are intrinsically flawed, too rudimentary for today’s software, and resistant to change. The Mitten’s optional methods are not only superior but can be developed because they are software-encapsulated and require no support. COMPETITIVE LANDSCAPE In the past, this problem was solved by… Better pointers, dedicated apps for new devices, screen tricks, or other technologies. But these avoid, not solve, the problem. A pointer is still a mouse, and software alone has limits. Improved, simple methods, that work with existing apps, are the essential criteria for a genuine solution, which this product satisfies.
